Tips to keep the marbles floor sparkle
When cleaning it, always use a mild soap solution.
Daily routines
Sweep your marble with a soft broom, or vacuum to remove loose dust. Rub with a clean soft mop dipped in a water and soap solution. Always wipe the surface dry, or dust may settle and lead to dirty water stains. On heavy traffic areas, use a dry fill mop 2-3 times a day.
Get marble flooring scaled professionally periodically depending on the usage of the area. A light coat of wax protects marble from water. Do not use wax in white marbles
Make a thick paste by mixing baking soda with a little water. Spread on the strains and leave it on depends on the intensity of the stain. Wash with warm, soapy water. Dry it with a soft cloth.
Things that has to be followed while cleaning marbles
Blot up spoils immediately. Marble is sensitive to acidic substances such as coffee, juices and sauces
Use only warm water and mild soap for daily cleaning
Use coasters under all bottles and cans as even water can leave a permanent ring. Keep toiletries on a tray - their chemical content can harm your marble counter.
Check you vacuum cleaner for any damaged, worn-out parts or grit jammed in the wheels. These may scratch the marbles surface
Use doormats. Grit, sand and dust carried by shoes are abrasive and may scratch the floor.
Keep a separate tote for your marble-cleaning products, mops and dusters if you have different surfaces such as granite, quartz or wood. Label the cleaning products so that there is no chance that your house help accidently uses the wrong one.
Things that has not to be followed while cleaning marbles
Do not use vinegar, ammonia or lemon to clean marble stains.
Marble counters are not flexible and too much weight in one spot can cause a crack
